| I love to look at maps, and particularly enjoy topographic
and theme maps. Are you as much of a map lover as I
am? Get thee down to USGS in Menlo Park for an amazing
selection of maps... and then have them laminated at
Accents and Artech in San Leandro
Once or twice a year I accompany Carol down to Palo Alto. She enjoys
shopping at Stanford Shopping Center.. the easiest way to get a
Bloomingdale's fix if you're not in Manhattan... so I drop her
off and then drive to the nearby USGS map store in Menlo Park

My favorite map is the shaded contour map of the United States,
and my infrared maps of the Berkeley and New York City. I've a
magnificent infrared map of Berkeley, which is so clear and crisp
you can practically see Lucy The Cat lounging in our back yard!
